18-Month Contract Opportunity Through Yoh
Pay Rate: $29.00 - $38.00 per Hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Flexible)
100% Onsite

Are you an experienced electromechanical assembler who enjoys building innovative products in a fast-paced engineering environment? This is an exciting opportunity to join Applied Materials, a global technology leader, where you will work alongside design and manufacturing engineers developing next-generation prototype products.   • Assemble electromechanical prototype products using verbal and written work instructions
  • Work closely with design and manufacturing engineers to develop efficient assembly processes
  • Recommend improvements that reduce assembly time and manufacturing costs
  • Redline assembly procedures and Bills of Material (BOMs) based on findings and build experience
  • Support Manufacturing Engineers with work-cell development and optimization
  • Participate in project meetings to understand daily priorities and deliverables
  • Help establish best practices for future production processes


Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of electromechanical assembly experience
  • Experience using hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque drivers, wrenches, and pliers
  • Soldering experience required
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Associate Degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering is a plus
  • PCBA through-hole and SMT experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
