Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior HRIS Analyst (Workday Consultant) for a temporary 7-month role focused on supporting the implementation of Workday. This role will focus on integrations, reporting, and business process configuration, while partnering closely with HR, IT, and implementation vendors to ensure successful system build, testing and deployment readiness. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on Workday expertise across Recruiting, Core HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent, Benefits, Payroll, Help and Journeys along with a strong emphasis on configuration, testing, integrations and data validation to support a successful workday go-live. All job duties and responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Test and support Workday business processes, security roles, and system setup across HCM modules.
  • Partner with functional teams (HR, Payroll, Benefits, etc) to ensure configurations align with business needs.
  • Support configuration troubleshooting and iterative design updates during build cycles.
  • Design, build, and maintain inbound and outbound integrations using Workday tools (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio).
  • Validate integration file outputs, data mappings, and transformation logic. Support issue resolution during integration testing cycles.
  • Perform data validation across conversions, integrations, and configuration outputs.
  • Develop Workday reports and dashboards (advanced, matrix, composite) to align with business needs.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Requirements

  • Excellent research, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Excellent listening skills to understand needs, and ability to probe for clarity when needed.

  • Knowledge of data governance and HR data compliance practices

Education and Experience

  • College degree in computer science or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years working with Workday, with strong hands-on configuration expertise.
  • 3+ years Workday reporting and integrations experience required.

The actual base salary is based on geographic location, and the range is representative of salaries for this role throughout Selective's footprint. Additional considerations include relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance, and business needs.
