Cannon Automotive Solutions, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator in our Bowling Green, Ky Stamping Facility. The Logistics Coordinator isresponsible forcoordinating receiving or shipment for materials, parts and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of logistics coordination, have strong teamwork skills, be self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:




  • Responsible to coordinate production orders against demand and forecast and purchase material, blanks and components, as required
  • Make suggestions for improving the accuracy and timeliness of information needed to place purchase materials and schedule production activities
  • Communicate with the production floor and shipping
  • Maintain and administer inventory control in relation to material, blanks and components. Based on customer releases.
  • Prepare and maintain various reports
  • Overhead crane and forklift certification.
  • Cross training functions when assigned as necessary (ie. Coil bay coverage)
  • Other duties, as assigned



Minimum Qualifications:




  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment


  • Valid forklift license and/or relevant years of driving experience


  • Ability and effectiveness to manage time to meet required deadlines


  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Visual & CMS



Preferred Qualifications:




  • 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment


  • College level diploma or equivalent education and work experience


  • Use all resources effectively


  • High level of data accuracy


  • Must be detail orientated


  • Familiar with systems and customer portals where applicable.
