Description Position at Hearth & Home Technologies, LLC Hearth & Home Technologies is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Stoves Business Unit in Halifax, PA. We will not accept agency candidates.* Key Responsibilities Managingsmall to large scale projects to achieve timely improvements to SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) metrics. Drivefacility's lean culture by supporting business process improvements through Continuous Improvement events. Assessand eliminatesafetyrisksin the manufacturing environment and drive improvements to ergonomicsthroughout the production process. Establish production run rates, balance standard work, create smooth flow of material and finishedproduct. Improve product qualityby building quality control and mistake-proofing into the manufacturing process. Drive cost reduction through improved labor efficiency, improved material utilization, reduced defect rates Implement product changes through ECO process and support new product launches. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience 1-2 years of related experience Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, primarily Excel, Project, Outlook, & AutoCAD Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, Health Savings Account, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off and Holidays, and Retirement Benefits).
