Office of Admissions Job Description
The University of Missouri Office of Admissions is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Student Recruitment Specialist to help us recruit the next generation of Mizzou Tigers. If you are an excellent communicator, enjoy building relationships, and are passionate about helping students navigate the college search process, we encourage you to apply. This position must reside in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area and serves as Mizzou's regional representative for the Office of Admissions. The position serves as a member of the Admissions Team, managing the assigned recruitment territory to assist in achieving enrollment goals for Mizzou. This position provides information about Mizzou and the college planning process to prospective students, parents and high school counselors. Qualified candidates will be passionate about higher education and eager to join a fun and hard-working team. This position requires a home-based office within the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area and should not be considered an 8-5 job includes frequent evening and occasional weekend commitments to support recruitment events and outreach activities. This position maintains an off-site home-based recruitment office designed to plan, execute and evaluate these recruitment activities: -Independently manage an assigned recruitment territory by developing, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive recruitment strategy designed to achieve enrollment goals. This includes This position maintains an off-site recruitment office designed to plan, execute and evaluate these recruitment activities: -Informing prospective students and their parents about the University of Missouri's academic programs, requirements and life on campus which will include attending some on and off campus programs. Attend training sessions to maintain knowledge of current information on degree programs, residential life and financial aid issues. Other duties as assigned. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
