Technologies Specialist

Technologies Specialist supports day-to-day, escalated, and complex service delivery areas across the firm, partnering with Infrastructure, BIM, and Application teams to ensure seamless user experiences.

Position Summary
This role proactively improves toolsets, develops deployment processes, and leads local technology integration efforts.

Essential Functions

  • Resolve high-impact and recurring user issues requiring an increased level of troubleshooting.
  • Support integration of collaboration tools, printing, and cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Intune).
  • Partner with Operations on endpoint deployments, configurations, and updates.
  • Adhere to and maintain documentation, training resources, and asset management standards.
  • Analyze support trends and assist in the automation of support system enhancements
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support and mentor Coordinators.
  • Contribute to testing and rollout of enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Assist with pilot testing and feedback collection for new tools/platforms.
  • Standardize documentation, training, and onboarding methods across offices.
  • Partner with Operations and other Technology Specialists to develop automation scripts or workflows to reduce manual IT support tasks.
  • Guide Coordinators and Specialists on advanced support techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of progressive IT support experience with technical specialization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Windows OS, SCCM/Intune, and collaboration platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead troubleshooting efforts and train others.
  • Experience working with GCCH High Azure environment preferred.
  • Experience working with Autodesk and Bentley applications preferred.
  • Experience with ITIL based environments preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Some repetitive movements, bending and lifting of minimal weight.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in writing and verbally via phone, video conferencing, and in-person.
  • Visual acuity to perform responsibilities.
