Remote role based in the US. Candidates must be physicallylocatedwithin the US.

Job Description

The BI Consultant plays a critical role in managing reporting tasks, analyzing data for meaningful trends, and consults with clients on efficient use of various BI tools. They work independently tooptimizereporting processes, enhance efficiency, andidentifyopportunities for business growth. They take on a more strategic role in business development byidentifyingand nurturing leads, refining proposals, andoptimizingthe quoting process for BI solutions. They stay up to date on industry trends and collaborate with leadership on new BI product and service development to strengthen client relationships and drive lead generation efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end delivery of in-scope reporting solutions across a variety of NIQ data sources (RMS, CPS, Omni).
  • Independently manage reporting tasks and analyze data to understand trends and drive decision making.
  • Partner with customers to setobjectivesthat drive business impact and maximize client value, building andmaintainingstrong relationships and deepexpertisewith adaptability, urgency, and positivity.
  • Consult with clients and stakeholders on BI tool usage for specific projects andidentifyopportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Independentlyidentifiesandnurturesleads for BI and NIQ solutions, performing needs assessments, handlingobjectionsand creating tailored proposals.
  • Optimizeand enhance reporting solutions and collaborate with leadership on new BI product and service development.
  • Consult directly with clients and stakeholders onoptimaluse of BI tools and techniques to create impactful reporting.
  • Work closely with BI and other cross-functional colleagues and leadership toassistin day-to-day BI customer support needs, deployment activities and transformation initiatives as assigned.
  • Independently manage assigned projects.
  • Participate in the development of a set of best-in-class examples.
  • Actively engage in continued learning and development to upskill yourself, our team and advance our core areas of BI and analyticsexpertise.

Qualifications
  • 3-6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiencyin at least one of the following data visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategyor similar.
  • Experience working with AI Productivity tools (Copilot, Chat, Claude, etc.)
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proventrack recordof successfully delivering innovative reporting solutions.
  • Experience working directly with customers preferred.
  • Passion for learning and applyingnew technologiesto drive business outcomes for clients.
  • Intellectually curiousandstrong desireto learn, understand, and apply BI tools and techniques to a variety of projects.
  • Familiarity with applying deductive reasoning, understanding hierarchicalrelationshipsand identifying gaps in logic.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesand projects independently.
  • Builds andmaintainspositive and collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues - up, down, and across.
  • Previous experience working with FMCG Retailers or Manufacturers is a plus.
  • Past experience working with offshore resourcesa hugeplus.
Additional Information

This role has a market-competitive salary withan anticipatedbase compensation of $69,800 - $81,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
