Work Schedule: Full-time, 100% FTE, day shift. Hours will be primarily Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. No weekend rotation is required. We are seeking a Music Therapist to: Perform assessments of patients and families to identify needs in order to set short and/or long-term goals Utilize knowledge of pediatric growth and development to guide interactions across age and developmental levels Provide music therapy interventions that are goal-oriented, support evidence-based practice, and are patient and family focused Evaluate effectiveness of interventions and modify care based on results Work closely with patient, family, and health care team in order to develop and implement a patient-specific treatment plan Communicate relevant patient care information and work as an integrative member of a patient's health care team to promote continuity of care At UW Health, you will have: An excellent benefits package, including health and dental insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, two-week paid parental leave and adoption assistance.
