Purpose of Position:

Del Monte Foods is the Foods Division of Fresh Del Monte, a global grower, producer and marketer of fresh, value-added, and shelf-stable produce. Del Monte Foods has a powerful portfolio of brands, including the iconic Del Monte, Contadina and S&W. We are currently seeking Seasonal Worker II - General Laborers.

The Seasonal Worker II - General Labor is responsible for supporting distribution center and label line operations during peak season. This is a temporary seasonal position that assists with general labor duties, food safety initiatives, and DRU builds while maintaining compliance with safety standards, GMP, and OSHA regulations.

Accountabilities:

• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties to promote food safety initiatives.
• Assist with label line operations to deliver quality products.
• Support DRU builds during peak season.
• Maintain open communication with stock controllers and supervisors.
• Keep work area clean, neat, and orderly.
• Comply with OSHA, GMP, and all applicable safety standards.
• Assist in maintaining warehouse security.

Minimum Skills Required:

• Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and math
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Compliance with OSHA, GMP, and safety standards
• Prior experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or food production environment preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.
