About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team as Senior Accountant. In this role, you will support the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the organization's financial reporting processes. You will contribute to the successful execution of month-end and quarter-end close activities, financial analysis, reconciliations, and continuous process improvement initiatives while partnering across functions to support business objectives and operational effectiveness. You will also provide guidance to Staff Accountants and collaborate with Finance and business partners to strengthen financial reporting and controls.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and record month-end close activities by completing journal entries, validating supporting documentation, and ensuring transactions are accurately reflected in the general ledger to support timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews by investigating variances, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining supporting schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records.
  • Conduct analytical reviews and financial analysis by evaluating trends, fluctuations, and financial results to identify risks, provide insights, and support management decision-making.
  • Support quarterly reporting and disclosure requirements by preparing schedules, analyses, and supporting documentation to facilitate accurate and compliant external and internal reporting.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and leverage emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, improve data quality, and streamline accounting processes.
  • Mentor and support Staff Accountants by providing guidance, reviewing work as needed, sharing technical knowledge, and promoting consistency and accuracy in accounting activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Shared Services, Treasury, FP&A, and other business partners to support financial processes, resolve issues, and ensure alignment of financial information across the organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience performing at a Senior Accountant level or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting month-end close, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and reporting activities.
  • Passed one or more sections of the CPA examination, or actively pursuing CPA certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited university.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA designation or active progress toward completion of the CPA program.
  • Experience working in a complex, multi-entity, or publicly traded environment.
  • Experience utilizing financial systems, automation tools, or AI-enabled process improvement solutions.

Compensation

The hiring base salary range for this position is $75,500 - 103,840 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
