As a
Shipping and Receiving Associate, you'll help keep materials moving accurately, safely, and on time at
Coperion FHN, a Hillenbrand company in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Your work will support steady production, reliable customer delivery, and a well-run warehouse operation that can scale with the business over time. We provide industrial equipment and material handling solutions that help manufacturers move, feed, and process materials with consistency and control. You'll contribute to a team that values disciplined execution, continuous improvement, and practical problem-solving every day.
Location: Whitewater, Wisconsin
Shift: 1st shift
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments in SAP to verify quantity, condition, and documentation accuracy.
- Stock and distribute incoming materials using established warehouse processes to support production flow and inventory control.
- Pick and kit orders for assembly with attention to timing, accuracy, and material readiness.
- Skid and palletize outbound shipments using standard packing methods to protect product and support on-time delivery.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move product throughout the facility.
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness through 5S practices to support safety, visibility, and efficient work.
- Follow ISO 9001 standards, work instructions, and procedures to ensure consistent execution and quality outcomes.

- You'll work closely with assembly and warehouse partners to keep materials available, organized, and moving to the right place at the right time. You'll help build a respectful, inclusive work environment where people communicate clearly, support one another, and contribute to the success of Coperion FHN and Hillenbrand.
THE EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES NEEDED:
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Bring at least two years of shipping, receiving, inventory, transportation, or warehousing experience.
- Use computer systems effectively, including SAP or a similar inventory or warehouse management system.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of warehouse processes, material flow, and standard receiving and shipping procedures.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Communicate clearly in writing and in conversation to support accurate coordination and issue resolution.
- Prioritize multiple tasks and shift between duties as business needs change during the day.
- Work with strong attention to detail, dependable follow-through, sound judgment, and a continuous improvement mindset.
