JOB DESCRIPTION

GENERAL FUNCTION


The Eyewear Ambassador effectively sells all Luxottica product lines and promotes the Luxottica brand image while maintaining Luxottica's merchandising standards. Meets sales goals and provides customers an optimal shopping experience.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Tracks and meets sales goals and objectives for Luxottica brands in an assigned store.
  • Participates in assortment planning, assortment needs and assortment edits.
  • Manages the business, includes but not limited to: driving, monitoring and reporting inconsistencies in the business, evaluating sales trends, proposing and executing moves to the benefit of the business. (Evaluating may include an audit of book stock versus physical stock. Proposal to include proactive approach to growing the business, i.e. floor move).
  • Greets customers immediately in a friendly and engaging manner; provides customers with professional, personalized customer service to promote sales by increasing customer awareness of Luxottica's brands.
  • Keeps current with all Luxottica products, services, incentives, promotions, advertising and competitive offers to facilitate sales efforts; maintains awareness of competitor's products, promotions, and services.
  • Develops strong working relationships with all store personnel.
  • Actively looks for ways to generate leads to increase customer traffic to location within store, (i.e. Personal Shopper, Public Relations Manager, etc.).
  • Effectively executes product promotions to increase sales and brand awareness.
  • Ensures prominent product placement within department.
  • Ensures that cases and displays are properly maintained and stocked.
  • Maintains the service and merchandising standards of Luxottica as well as those of the assigned store.
  • Adheres to store dress and attire requirements as well as store rules and policies.
  • Communicates with Retail Market Manager and Account Manager on store events, product activity, sales needs, competition and customer feedback.
  • Provides sales and relevant business intelligence to Retail Manager.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Associates degree
  • 1+ year(s) experience in a customer service environment
  • Eyewear sales experience
  • Previous merchandising, selling and/or retail experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Aptitude for selling, energetic and passionate
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to take initiative to generate creative selling solutions
  • Proficient w/ PC applications - Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Highly adaptable and able to demonstrate flexibility in scheduling
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Comfortable with digital photography


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Degree in business management with concentration in marketing, merchandising, or sales
  • Previous merchandising, selling and/or retail experience in a fashion environment
  • Familiarity with all Luxottica products within store

Pay Range:-29.12

This posting is for an existing vacancy within our business.Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
