Job Description
This position will work with the Manuscripts & Digital Curation unit to assist with reprocessing and inventorying the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Records under the supervision of the Manuscripts Curator.

Responsibilities include:
Physically assessing collection material and inputting data into appropriate forms and spreadsheets, organizing archival material, writing inventories for archival material, identifying discrepancies between collection content and the existing collection guides, managing intellectual content through archival management software, staffing the Special Collections public service desks, and other tasks as assigned.
GPA Requirement Minimum of 3.0
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with computers, databases, and programs such as Google Forms and Microsoft Excel, will communicate clearly and work independently, and will be willing to provide regular informal reports on progress. Able to safely lift up to 30 lbs and be comfortable climbing stepladders. No strong allergies to dust and/or mold.
