What you will enjoy doing*
- You will startup, operate, and maintain the air separation plants and all associated tanks, controls, and truck fill systems.
- Troubleshoot plant shutdowns and perform corrective maintenance to allow plant restarts.
- Coordinate
scheduling of planned maintenance and perform preventative maintenance on plant components. - Operate
units to continuously supply products at the appropriate quantities and qualities safely and economically, complying with all environmental regulations and daily customer requirements. - Further, you will monitor
process performance and makes appropriate adjustments to remedy deviations and align to the specified norm. - Read
and interpret P&ID's, Electrical Schematics, One Line Diagrams, Equipment Manuals and company procedures - Perform
calibration of analyzers, field instrumentation, and have the ability to troubleshoot control system problems. - And you will perform
lock-out tag-out, correctly and safely permit maintenance work, and oversee contractors as necessary. - Safely
troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all rotating equipment and associated mechanical systems including compressors, pumps, fans, and valves - Prepare
and execute projects to improve facility availability and reliability - Manage
maintenance deadlines and PM intervals - And you will communicate
with cross-functional groups and other business departments - Support
maintenance of 7 satellite pipeline meter stations and occasionally assist team with DigTix locates to ensure Linde pipeline is protected during outside utility construction.
What makes you great
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Mechanical maintenance experience required.
- Three (3) or more years of production operations experience preferred in areas such as air separation or process operations, instrumentation and controls, industrial maintenance, compressors, mechanical or electrical systems, HVAC, or related military technical disciplines.
- You have a strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and testing/measuring equipment.
- You have working knowledge of computers and typical computer programs (i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders and stairs, lift up to 50 pounds, and work at elevated heights.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation every fourth week. Some overtime, holiday, and after-hours work will be required. This position may also require providing turnaround support within the region. A company vehicle will be provided for work-related travel.
