Job Description:

The Document Control Analyst supports the management of controlled documentation used in semiconductor manufacturing and supporting operations. This role ensures that process instructions, specifications, quality records, and technical documentation are accurate, current, properly authorized, and available for use in a highly regulated, fast paced manufacturing environment. The position follows established document control and quality system procedures and works under guidance to support compliance, operational consistency, and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead implementation of document control processes, governance, and change management practices supporting ongoing operation.

  • Maintain support to the VPS engineering team in Carlsbad & create a link to the new manufacturing site.

  • Facilitate weekly Change Control Board (CCB) meetings to go over changes.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within document control processes to support operational effectiveness, audit readiness, and quality system compliance.

  • Develop and maintain document approval matrix to support organizational changes, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing site expansion.

  • Develop and deliver document control and change management training to ensure adoption of document governance standards and compliance requirements.

  • Serve as the primary document control subject matter expert for the VPS product line, providing guidance on document governance, change control requirements, and resolution of complex documentation issues.

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to implement document management best practices and ensure consistent application of document governance standards across sites.

  • Maintain controlled documents related to semiconductor manufacturing, engineering, quality, and operations within document management systems.

  • Process document change requests, including creation, revision, approval routing, release, and archival, in accordance with established change control procedures.

  • Ensure proper version control, document traceability, and controlled distribution of manufacturing and quality documentation.

  • Support periodic reviews of controlled documents to confirm alignment with current manufacturing processes and quality requirements.

  • Coordinate with process engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to resolve document discrepancies or updates.

  • Monitor document control workflows and queues to ensure timely processing and compliance with defined service levels.

  • Assist in internal, customer, and third-party audits by retrieving and providing controlled records and documentation evidence.

  • Maintain accurate document metadata and records to support data integrity and regulatory compliance.

  • Follow established quality management system (QMS) procedures, data integrity standards, and compliance requirements.

  • Operates in a process driven semiconductor manufacturing environment with defined procedures and controls.

  • Role is an individual contributor with no people management responsibility.

  • Work requires accuracy, consistency, and adherence to documented processes.

Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work| Required

Pay Range:

$84,800.00 - $111,300.00

Pay Range Explained:

This role in Livermore, California pays between $84,800.00 and $111,300.00 per year, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations. We offer a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, a 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan (ESPP), and paid time off. You'll also be eligible for quarterly profit-sharing bonuses and flexible spending or savings accounts.
