Overview:

Are you looking for a role that keeps you active and engaged? Egan Company is seeking a motivated Shop Services Clerk to join our Industrial Controls team in Champlin, MN. This is an essential, hands-on position where you'll play a key role in keeping our production running smoothly by managing material flow, supporting our kitting processes, and maintaining a high-performance warehouse environment. You'll report directly to our Panel Shop Operations Supervisor and work alongside a collaborative team that values safety, efficiency, and professional growth.   • Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (with occasional weekends/overtime as needed). Performance of duties in a climate-controlled warehouse environment.




Responsibilities:




  • Receive inbound materials, components, and supplies.



  • Verify package contents for damage and accuracy.



  • Place products in assigned locations throughout the warehouse.



  • Support problem resolution pertaining to shipping errors, lost shipments, or internal picking errors.



  • Coordinate shipping of small and large parcels both locally and nationally.



  • Enter data Warehouse Management System (WMS).



  • Maintain a safe, organized, clean, and efficient work area.



  • Picking and kitting of components to support production.



  • Proactively manage the supply of parts to the production floor by kitting components and utilizing rolling carts to ensure a continuous and organized workflow.



  • Maintain workstation inventory levels to support multi-day production schedules and replenish materials as needed to minimize downtime.



  • Operate forklift efficiently in the shop and warehouse for material management (certification process provided).



  • Identify and assist in continuous process improvement measures. Assist in 5S and Lean activities as required.



  • Adhere to all safety and security guidelines applicable to the shop and warehouse.



  • Maintain professionalism with co-workers, customers, sub-contractors, vendors, project managers, office, and field staff.



  • Work in a team environment to accomplish tasks at hand.




Qualifications




  • Ability to use strapping/banding equipment.



  • High motivation level and ability to multitask.



  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.



  • Attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.



  • Proficient math and communication skills.



  • Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds (alone) or 50 to 85 pounds with assistance.



  • Intermediate computer skills.



  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.



  • A high school diploma or GED is required.



  • Background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and material handling, is a plus.

Hourly Range: $20.83 - $24.44 (subject to such factors as experience, education, and/or skill set) plus potential annual discretionary bonus.
