Salary range:
The UC academic salary scales set the minimum pay at appointment. See the following table for the current salary scale for this position: [T15]. A reasonable full-time salary range for this position is $77,561-$153,069. Starting salary will be commensurate with highest degree, past college-level teaching experience, relevant industry experience and equity within the unit. Percent time:
11% - 100% Anticipated start:

Application Window Open date: July 27, 2026 Next review date: Monday, Aug 10, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Monday, Jul 26, 2027 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Social Science Career Readiness Internship Program (SSCRIP) is a division-wide program for undergraduate social sciences majors who are interested in a summer internship to gain experience as they prepare to join the workforce. With a focus on low-income, underserved, and first-generation students, SSCRIP participants are guaranteed funding for a paid internship upon completion of the required career readiness course. DUTIES OF THE POSITION: In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties may include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g. syllabus), assignments, interacting with students outside of class time via email and/or a course web site.
