Job Summary

Bring your knowledge of digital marketing and corporate communications to produce creative content for a range of audiences and take our websites to new heights. As a self-starter who works well in a team environment, you will coordinate digital marketing projects from conception to completion and ensure we are on message.

Responsibilities

As a member of the marketing team, you will partner with the e-commerce marketing manager in the development of promotions, landing pages, marketing automations, as well as print and digital collateral. Your effective digital content will unlock growth and support our new e-commerce vertical.

You will learn how to translate data/behavior for the director of marketing and communications, business leaders, sales associates and merchant/product teams to support the customer journey, determining alternate digital paths, online or through direct and indirect sales associate touchpoints. You understand digital may not always be the solution to sales growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum three to five years of experience in marketing. Understands the basic principles of marketing and communications and how they fit together
• Creative and resourceful content provider who formulates and implements original ideas for our websites, ensuring Web strategy supports Core & Main business strategy
• Excellent people skills with ability to interact professionally across the organization.
• Organized, detailed project planner capable of working independently as a part of a team to achieve desired results with a sense of urgency
• Eye for good design, recognizing that visual design and copy are partners in good communication
• Excellent command of search engine marketing, web content management systems and digital analytics, understanding UX principles
• Strong knowledge of driving traffic to a company's main site and enhancing the frontline customer journey
• Drive regular reporting and analysis for campaigns and marketing efforts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience using data and analysis for decision-making, with an insight into when there is or is not enough information to change course

Preferred:

• Direct-to-buyer understanding of e-commerce with B2B experience is a must
• A basic understanding of marketing automation software like HubSpot.
• Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager Certification
• Oracle NetSuite Experience
