Job Description Job Title: Commercial Coordinator Locations: 4 Times Square, New York, NY (hybrid) About the Role The Commercial Team works with and supports multiple teams across the group, including Sales, Legal, Program Delivery, Business & IT Operations, and Relationship & Vendor Management. Our work is driven by the pace and dynamic nature of the business, supporting new business activity as well as contract renewals and pricing. This is an entry-level position supporting the US Commercial Team, but will sometimes require global tasks. The Commercial Support Officer helps coordinate contract negotiations for new business, working alongside our Legal, Delivery, and business SME teams. It is well suited to a recent graduate or early-career professional with a legal, paralegal, or financial services background who wants to develop a broad commercial and contracts skill set within a global financial services organization. The role partners with colleagues across the business to ensure they are represented accurately in client contracts and the underlying commitments, including Services, Implementation, IT (including BCP/Resilience and Information Security), Audit, Governance, and Operating Model. How You Will Make an Impact Under the guidance of Commercial Directors and senior colleagues, the Commercial Support Officer will develop autonomy in identifying priorities, taking initiative, and ensuring SS&C is professionally represented in every client interaction. Legal Document Management Support the legal team with document production and version control, including bookmarking, template management, and merging multiple contract documents into a consolidated agreed draft. Client & Product Tools Ensure all relevant detail is captured and maintained in the client management / product tool (GoCheck), and use it to add value in providing information to colleagues and clients.
