The Associate Manager, Government and Political Affairs is responsible for implementing Covestro's legislative, policy and political strategy on key issues impacting our business in the United States. The Associate Manager leads federal advocacy outreach to key elected and appointed officials in Congress and Administration and our efforts on several key policy issues directly and through trade associations. The position is also responsible for leading Covestro's political action committee, CovestroPAC, and growing it into an industry-leading strategic political resource that better advances the mission and objectives of Covestro in Washington, DCand in relevant states. This position reports to Covestro LLC's Head of North American Public Affairs in Washington, DC. This position offers a flexible hybrid work option with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office that balances both in-person work (in our centrally located Washington DC office) and working remotely.
