Job Responsibilities
- Provides operational and strategic oversight for HB and PB Revenue Integrity functions related to charge capture, charge reconciliation, and WQ management.
- Partners with Service Lines, operational leaders, and Revenue Cycle teams to improve charge capture accuracy, workflow efficiency, and reimbursement outcomes.
- Monitors and analyzes Revenue Cycle trends, denials, reconciliation variances, and operational performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and revenue optimization.
- Collaborates with Denials Prevention, coding, billing, compliance, clinical operations, and finance teams to support proactive issue resolution and regulatory compliance.
- Leads strategic initiatives focused on Revenue Integrity optimization, operational standardization, and process improvement across HB and PB environments.
- Oversees WQ prioritization, workflow management, escalation processes, and accountability measures to support timely resolution of revenue-impacting issues.
- Evaluates and supports implementation of innovative technologies, automation opportunities, and AI-driven initiatives designed to improve operational efficiency, reporting capabilities, and future organizational growth.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
Licensure -Must have ONE of the following Certified Credentials from AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders) /AHIMA (American Health Information Management Association): RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CPC, or licensure: Registered Nurse Experience - 7 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle oversight, charge capture/reconciliation, including 1 year of supervisory experience Certification - Must have ONE of the following Certified Credentials from AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders) /AHIMA (American Health Information Management Association): RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CPC, or licensure: Registered Nurse Education - Bachelor's degree; or Associate degree and 2 years relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum Experience requirement; or HS Diploma/GED and 4 years relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum Experience requirement
