The Security Specialist - Industrial supports the development, maintenance, and execution of industrial security requirements across the program and its contractor locations. This role ensures classified, controlled unclassified, and proprietary information are safeguarded in accordance with DoD, NISP, and programspecific policies. The specialist also manages documentation, assessments, training, and compliance activities essential to maintaining a robust industrial security posture.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• The Security Specialist - Industrial will author, maintain, and update security documentation such as Security Operations Manuals, SOPs, Security Classification Guides, Access Management Control Plans, Project Security Instructions, SSAMPs, COOPs, OEPs, Program Protection Plans, and Emergency Action Plans at intervals directed by the Government.
• Security Specialist - Industrial maintain and update Government security websites, databases, and systems of record including JADE, DISS, SharePoint, and local archives.
• Assist with scheduling and executing securityrelated meetings, conferences, and working groups, including recording notes and identifying security tasks or responsibilities.
• Perform task management and develop methods to track Government priorities, reports, and security actions.
• Provide security assessments, Staff Assistance Visits, and protection guidance to support industry compliance.
• Conduct indepth analysis of program equities to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security gaps, ensuring methodologies mitigate identified threats.
• Assist with development and execution of Corrective Action Plans, POA&Ms, and other compliance documentation required by applicable regulations and policies.
• Develop and execute an inperson, virtual, and static display SETA program, including monthly topics or focus areas, and maintain security posters, announcements, and bulletin boards.
• Identify security incident trends, incorporate mitigation training, and ensure required initial and annual security training is completed and documented.
• Receive, transmit, and file visit requests for personnel and visitors for CONUS, OCONUS, and international facilities.
• Security Specialist - Industrial assist with developing construction security plans, SOPs, fixed facility checklists, and documentation required for SCI/SAP facility operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

• Knowledge of National Industrial Security Program requirements, DoD industrial security standards, INFOSEC and PERSEC policies, and security documentation processes.
• Skilled in authoring, maintaining, and organizing complex security publications, assessments, compliance tools, and facility support materials.
• Ability to evaluate risks, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend effective protective measures for CPI, MCC, MCF, and other sensitive program equities.
• Skilled in managing security databases, tracking tasks, coordinating visits, and supporting meetings, training, and compliance activities.
• Ability to support SCI/SAP facility documentation, training program development, and comprehensive industrial security oversight across Government and industry locations.
• Specialized experience with flag-officer level briefings and senior-level interface.

Minimum/General Experience:

• At least 10 years of relevant work experience.

Minimum Education:

• Master's Degree in relevant field; or a bachelor's degree and 4 additional years of relevant work experience.
• Industrial Security Oversight Certification (CDSE) within one year of hire.
