In the role of Water/Wastewater EIT/Design Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

Create detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment systems, distribution systems, and collection systems under instructions from a Professional Engineer. -
Perform engineering process design, including equipment sizing and selection. -
Model piping system layouts. -
Prepare analyses and study-level reports for water and wastewater treatment, distribution, and collection systems; determine appropriate design methods; and work directly with facility Owners. -
Prepare drawings and specifications for water and wastewater treatment systems, distribution systems, and collection systems. -
Prepare piping diagrams, composite piping plans, equipment arrangements, piping isometrics, and other detailed drawings in various software platforms. -
Coordinate the work of engineers, technicians, and others on multi-discipline project teams throughout the projects' development and execution. -
Assist with the administration of construction contracts and startup of wastewater treatment plants, water treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, and related facilities. -
Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field. -
Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate. -
Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression. -
Software knowledge: Revit, Civil 3D. -
Previous experience with an architectural or engineering consulting firm. -
Interest or experience in municipal water and wastewater systems planning and design. -
Active interest in learning engineering disciplines assigned and growing into a senior designer. -
Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively with a project team to achieve completion of tasks and projects. -
Hydraulic modeling software experience. -
Design/drafting experience. -
Preference given to local candidates.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
- Interest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilities
- AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience
- Microsoft Office experience
- Must be able to work in a team environment
