Right At School provides Before & After School, Summer Camp, and Break Camp programs at 1,200+ schools across the country. Our programs deliver hands-on enrichment activities, homework support, active play, social-emotional learning, and more - all guided by a mission to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind.


As a Program Manager, you'll lead a team and oversee daily operations - coaching staff, ensuring safety and compliance, building relationships with families and school partners, and facilitating activities with kids as needed - while gaining valuable leadership and operations experience in the education field.


In short, your day-to-day leadership is what turns a good program into a great one, for your team and every child you serve.



Part-Time Split-Shift Program Manager Position Details-



* Work Days: (Part-Time/Split-Shift) Monday-Friday 6:00 am-7:45 am and return 2:00 pm-6:00 pm. Must be able to work before and after Monday through Friday


* Locations: Altura Elementary School at 1650 Altura Blvd, Aurora, CO 80011, and Highlands Elementary at 1603 E Euclid Ave, Littleton, CO 80121


* Start Date: Immediate


* Starting Wage: $25-$27.50 per hour (depending on years of experience and educational qualifications in a group setting)

Colorado State Requirements:



- Must be 21 years or older


- Live in Aurora Area


- One year of supervisory experience


- Verifiable education/experience


- Must meet one of the following education/experience tracks:



  1. - 4-year degree in education, elementary education, or a specialty field (art, human services, social work, psychology, etc.)
  2. - 2-year degree and 6 months (910 hours) of experience verified from age 21 or older
  3. - 5,460 hours of experience (2-3 years) combined with either 6 semesters of college schooling or 40 clock hours of training specific to school-aged children



What You'll Do

  • Lead and support a team of Educators, providing coaching, feedback, and day-to-day guidance
  • Keep site documentation, licensing standards, and safety and attendance protocols up to date and compliant with state and company standards
  • Oversee daily check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accurate "name to face" attendance records
  • Communicate regularly with families, school partners, and your Area Manager, responding promptly to emails, calls, and inquiries during program hours
  • Plan and oversee daily enrichment curriculum, movement, team games, and independent activity stations delivered by your team
  • Address and resolve day-to-day issues or conflicts among staff, students, or families
  • Monitor the program environment for safety, addressing hazards and ensuring safety protocols are followed
  • Report incidents, injuries, or safety concerns promptly and maintain accurate documentation

What We're Looking For

  • Experience managing competing priorities while delivering quality service to staff, families, and school partners
  • High school diploma or GED completed
  • Experience working with children, including those with unique or special needs
  • Coursework or training in child development or a related field (required)
  • Strong oral, written, and visual communication skills with both adults and children
  • Comfortable modeling professional standards around students, parents, staff, and community members
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace or willingness to learn
  • At least 21 years of age

Job Requirement
Ideal Candidates will have the following:
Program Managers must have one of the following:
* REQUIRED-4yr degree education, elementary education, specialty in art/human service (social work, psych, etc.); OR 2yr degrees and 6mo (910 hrs) of experience from the age of 18; OR 5, 460 hrs of experience (2-3yrs) w/ 6 semesters of schooling or 40 clocked hours of training for school-aged children
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Experience working with children under 13 years of age is a PLUS
  • One year of supervisory/management experience
  • Ability to lift 40lbs
  • Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements; LIVE Scan Fingerprint, Mandated Reporter training, Health Certificate/ Cleared TB, CPR/FA
