Position Summary

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on SAP S/4HANA commercial process leader to serve as the functional owner for Sales, Customer Service, Pricing, and Distribution. Reporting to the Group Vice President of Business Development, this role will lead process strategy, deployment governance, fit-to-standard adoption, and long-term sustainment of standardized SAP-enabled commercial processes.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in sales operations, customer service, pricing, distribution, and order fulfillment, along with the ability to translate business needs into scalable SAP solutions. They will partner closely with Corporate SAP, IT, division leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to align solution design, testing, deployment readiness, adoption, and post-go-live support.

Success in this role requires the ability to lead in a complex, matrixed environment; balance enterprise standards with operational requirements; influence stakeholders; resolve cross-functional issues; manage deployment risk; and ensure consistent execution and business continuity throughout implementation and stabilization.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

SAP S/4HANA Deployment and Process Leadership

  • Lead the deployment and adoption of SAP S/4HANA sales, customer service, pricing, distribution, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Support process assessments, fit-to-standard adoption, data preparation, testing, training, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and stabilization activities.
  • Identify process gaps, risks, exceptions, data requirements, and organizational impacts; escalate key decisions as needed.
  • Partner with Corporate SAP Business Process Leaders, IT, and business stakeholders to align solution design, deployment readiness, and sustainment.

Sales, Pricing, and Order Fulfillment

  • Lead and standardize SAP-enabled sales order management, customer service, pricing, distribution, and fulfillment processes.
  • Drive consistent execution of order entry, changes, returns, credits, debits, pricing, customer agreements, deliveries, shipping, billing, and customer issue resolution.
  • Partner with sales, customer service, supply chain, operations, finance, distribution, and logistics teams to improve order accuracy, pricing governance, delivery performance, transaction quality, and customer experience.
  • Ensure effective integration across inventory, production, warehouse operations, transportation, invoicing, and customer communication.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, strengthen process discipline, and improve operational efficiency.

Governance, Change Management, and Sustainment

  • Serve as the functional business process leader for assigned SAP sales and fulfillment processes and support governance forums and cross-functional deployment reviews.
  • Ensure alignment with Parker SAP strategy, enterprise standards, commercial controls, and business objectives.
  • Communicate readiness status, risks, decision needs, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, training, and change-management activities for process owners, implementation teams, super users, and end users.
  • Monitor adoption, compliance, transaction quality, customer service impacts, and business performance after deployment; prioritize enhancements and continuous-improvement opportunities with Corporate SAP and IT.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Information Systems, Sales Operations, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Eight or more years of experience in sales operations, customer service, pricing, distribution, order management, supply chain, ERP-enabled processes, or related commercial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of sales order management, customer service, pricing, distribution, fulfillment, and their impact on revenue, margin, delivery performance, and financial reporting.
  • Direct SAP implementation experience required; SAP S/4HANA and SAP Sales and Distribution experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional process standardization, fit-to-standard adoption, deployment readiness, and change-management initiatives.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-influence skills in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Ability to travel 25%-50%, with increased travel during deployment, cutover, go-live, and hypercare periods.
