About the Role

We are seeking a highly proactive and self-directed professional to step into a hands-on, execution-focused role within a communications team. You will be instrumental in managing digital content and web projects, working independently within established systems, and ensuring our online presence is always up-to-date and effective. If you thrive on taking initiative, solving problems, and driving projects forward with minimal supervision, this is the perfect opportunity to make a significant difference.

What You'll Do



  • Build, update, and publish web pages, primarily within WordPress, leveraging your strong Elementor experience.
  • Ensure all web content adheres to established design templates, brand standards, and website guidelines.
  • Apply fundamental UX and site navigation best practices to enhance content presentation and user experience.
  • Review web copy for clarity, readability, and grammar, collaborating with writers to refine content as needed.
  • Independently troubleshoot routine website and content issues, coordinating more complex development needs with external partners.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for external web agencies, managing requests, follow-ups, and status tracking.
  • Coordinate the integration of content across various related websites and digital platforms.
  • Maintain communications trackers, databases, and content libraries with exceptional accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage critical resources such as speaker bureaus, media tracking, story banks, and content repositories.
  • Ensure all information is organized, current, and readily accessible to stakeholders.
  • Document project progress, deadlines, and next steps within project management systems.
  • Curate, organize, and prepare content for newsletters, roundups, and other recurring communications.
  • Support monthly media, storytelling, and communications reporting efforts.
  • Collaborate with writers, communications team members, and stakeholders to gather and prepare content, ensuring accuracy and readiness for publication.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively and independently.
  • Track projects, tasks, owners, dependencies, and deadlines using Asana or similar project management platforms.
  • Proactively communicate project status and flag potential blockers early to ensure smooth progress.
  • Follow up with stakeholders and partners to keep work moving forward efficiently.


Must-Have Qualifications



  • Demonstrated hands-on experience managing and publishing content in WordPress.
  • Proven experience maintaining digital content platforms, databases, trackers, or content libraries.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for copy, content quality, and consistency.
  • Basic understanding of UX principles, website navigation, and digital content best practices.
  • Experience coordinating content for newsletters, communications, or similar recurring programs.
  • Proficiency with Asana or another robust project management platform.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot routine web and content issues independently.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • A proactive, self-directed approach, comfortable taking ownership and driving work forward.
  • A track record of independently managing digital content and web projects.


Nice-to-Have Qualifications



  • Strong hands-on experience with Elementor within WordPress.
