Join us as a Area Sales Rep Modernization, Large Project Center (LPC) Your main responsibilities Candidate is preferably located near a major airport, and will report to an office in the West region: Seattle, WA / Spokane, WA / Portland, OR / Boise, ID / Salt Lake City, UT / Denver, CO / Las Vegas, NV / San Francisco, CA / Sacramento, CA / Los Angeles, CA / Irvine, CA / San Diego, CA / Phoenix, AZ POSITION OVERVIEW The Area Sales Executive, MOD Large Project Center is responsible for pursuing and capturing the Area's largest and most complex modernization opportunities. The role leads the strategic efforts to both capital plan and modernize the existing portfolio to retain and build a more profitable service base, while also driving recovery efforts. Serves as the SME and dedicated support to the Area's MOD LPC sales. Essential Functions Large Project Sales Execution Lead pursuit of major modernization projects from early opportunity identification through contract award. Conduct specification reviews, scope development, and bid strategy preparation for complex modernization programs. Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Field Modernization teams to ensure large project proposals are technically sound and executable. Maintain forecasting visibility for large project opportunities. Identify and pursue large modernization opportunities within high-rise buildings and institutional portfolios. Target aging equipment in competitor-controlled high-rise portfolios and develop recovery strategies. Partner with the Area Modernization Sales Manager to identify LPC opportunities within the broader modernization pipeline. Consultant & Customer Engagement Build strong relationships with vertical transportation consultants, developers, property owners, and general contractors. Manage responses to consultant-driven tenders and market bids. Conduct consultant outreach and lunch-and-learn programs to influence modernization specifications and strengthen market presence. Cross-Functional Collaboration Support local office MOD Sales Rep training, technical interpretation, and bid strategy development for large modernization opportunities. Work with Headquarters, R&D, and global product teams to develop solutions that strengthen competitiveness in complex modernization opportunities. What you bring Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or Accounting, preferred. 10+ years of E&E Modernization sales experience. Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite software, Lotus Notes, SAP Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent organizational skills Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS * Travel required to district offices in assigned Area, as needed; varies What's in it for you? Base Salary * Los Angeles, Irvine, San Diego, Sacramento, San Francisco & Seattle: $113,400 - $141,700 * Spokane, Portland, Boise, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Denver, Las Vegas:$102,200 - $127,700 The above represents the typical salaryrange for this position. Revisions to the range may be considered based on your experience, education, location, demonstrated skills, and alignment with business priorities.
