Mechanical Engineering Intern

Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has a position available for limited-term, full-time engineering intern to work on dams and hydropower engineering projects starting in May/June 2027 and ending in August/September 2027.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting engineers with the delivery of dams and hydropower projects
• Conducting research
• Compiling and analyzing data
• Drafting technical reports
• Communicating with equipment vendors
• Reviewing construction documents
• Visiting construction sites

A valid driver's license will be required.

Successful candidates must have completed at least two semesters (4 semesters preferred) of college-level coursework in mechanical engineering or a closely related field.

The ideal candidate will have with any/all of the following:

• Previous mechanical engineering internship
• Microsoft Office software experience
• AutoCAD or other design software experience
• 3D modeling capabilities is a plus

Salary Range: $20.00 to $25.00 hourly; actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
