We have an exciting position open for a Senior Indirect MRO Site Buyerin our Cary, IL location.This Procure-to-Pay Process Lead is responsible for driving Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process excellence across the Beauty North America segment while providing transactional P2P support for the Cary IL Campus. This role serves as the segment subject matter expert for P2P processes, systems, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position leads efforts to standardize and optimize purchasing and accounts payable related processes, improve user adoption and compliance, reduce non-standard purchasing activities, resolve transactional issues, and support the migration of transactional P2P activities into Global Business Services (GBS). The role works closely with Operations, Finance, Accounts Payable, Global Business Services, Purchasing, and business stakeholders to improve efficiency, data quality, and overall P2P performance.

This is how your journey begins:

P2P Governance & Compliance-NA Beauty

• Drive compliance with corporate purchasing and payment policies.
• Lead initiatives to reduce the number of indirect purchasers creating purchase orders and improve purchasing discipline.
• Monitor and improve purchase requisition and purchase order quality throughout the organization.
• Ensure proper use of SAP and P2P tools through governance, auditing, training and corrective actions.
• Support internal and external audit requirements related to P2P processes.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

• Develop and deliver P2P training programs for employees, managers, and functional stakeholders.
• Act as the primary P2P resource for Beauty North America.
• Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and training materials.
• Lead communication and change management efforts for process enhancements and system improvements.
• Coach business users on proper procurement practices and policy compliance.

AP and Invoice Optimization

• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to identify and implement process improvements.

• Establish reporting and governance processes to reduce aged and inactive purchase orders.
• Drive Material Received But Not Invoiced (MRBR) resolution activities.

GBS Transition Leadership

• Serve as project lead for the transfer of transactional P2P activities into Global Business Services (GBS).
• Monitor service performance and continuous improvement opportunities following transition.
• Support stabilization activities and issue resolution post-migration.

Site P2P Support - Cary Campus

• Provide day-to-day support for P2P transactional activities at the Cary Campus.
• Assist end users with purchase requisitions, purchase orders, receiving issues, and invoice discrepancies.

• Act as liaison between site personnel, Accounts Payable, GBS, and Purchasing organizations. Interface with site functions to ensure effective execution of P2P process and compliance with purchasing policies.
• Assure supplier adherence to Aptar PO terms/conditions and policies.
• Coordinate the supplier setup process with Purchasing, Finance and Master Date on behalf of site.
• Support negotiations and agreements for site(s) as assigned by Purchasing Director or Site Director.
• Prepare and generate project budget, objectives, and reporting in support of site objectives
• Interact with Aptar Purchasing personnel as assigned to coordinate implementation of purchasing supply base design strategies and ensure adherence.
• Ensure excellence and professionalism in all supplier interactions
• Identify process enhancement and savings opportunities in support of specific P2P objectives

What you will bring on the Journey

Education

* Minimum of a bachelor's degree: BS/BBA

Experience

* 3 - 5 years of related purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment. Injectionmolding and highspeed assembly experience desirable

* Demonstrated advancement in responsibility and authority

Skills

* Proficient with business computing tools including Microsoft Office Applications

* Familiarity with SAP and inventory control systems and practices

* Ability to consistently manage multiple priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Confidence and professionalism in all dealings, both internal and external

* Ability to interpret specifications.

* Ability to read engineering drawing

* CPM, CPIM, or CIRM Certification desirable

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the starting salary range for this role is $86,500 - $110,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
