Coordinate shipment recovery plans and source replacement capacity when necessary to protect customer service and minimize operational impact. Provide Sales with carrier availability, market feedback, transportation costs, and operational guidance when quoting, onboarding, or expanding customer business. Maintain accurate carrier, rate, appointment, shipment-status, and service information within the TMS and other operational systems. Review and assist with transportation exceptions including detention, layovers, truck ordered not used, accessorial charges, missing paperwork, and billing discrepancies. Monitor key operational metrics and identify opportunities to improve carrier performance, service levels, transportation costs, process efficiency, and communication. Assist leadership with customer implementations, carrier initiatives, reporting, special projects, and continuous-improvement efforts as required.
