Warehouse Associates

STS Technical Services is hiring Warehouse Associates in Glendale, Wisconsin, to support shipping, receiving, inventory control and finished goods operations.

This role is designed for dependable warehouse professionals who can accurately pick, pack, prepare and document shipments while maintaining organized inventory records and supporting daily production needs.

The Warehouse Associate performs a variety of domestic and international shipping and receiving activities.

This position is responsible for verifying incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining shipping records, preparing products for shipment, completing cycle counts and ensuring shipping transactions are accurately recorded in SAP.

• Pick, pack and prepare products for shipment according to customer orders
  
• Follow established division policies and procedures
  
• Compare and verify shipment information against bills of lading, invoices, orders and other records
  
• Verify incoming materials for correct type and quantity
  
• Maintain shipping and receiving files and records
  
• Route incoming materials to appropriate departments, storerooms or other locations
  
• Prepare required documentation for domestic shipments
  
• Prepare required documentation for international shipments
  
• Maintain accurate shipping records
  
• Complete daily cycle counts
  
• Maintain the finished goods warehouse
  
• Receive finished goods into the appropriate inventory systems
  
• Ensure shipping transactions are accurately recorded in SAP
  
• Report shipping-related issues to the Logistics Manager
  
• Contact carriers to arrange service
  
• Support continuous improvement activities
  
• Participate on ad hoc committees or teams as required
  
• Perform additional duties as assigned
  

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
• At least one year of manufacturing experience
  
• Computer literacy
  
• SAP experience
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  
• Ability to push and pull up to 20 pounds
  
• Ability to climb up to 12 ladder rungs
  
• Ability to stand for extended periods
  
• Ability to walk occasionally throughout the workday
  

• Shipping or finished goods department experience
  
• Forklift experience
  
• Previous shipping experience
