Commercial Real Estate Manager - Central

This position will manage and lead multiple Commercial Real Estate (CRE) lending divisions in various geographies to ensure overall goals are met, leading the commercial real estate lending process. Reviews loan packages to ensure adequate safeguards are included. Represents the bank throughout the region in a manner aligned with the client's aspiration to be the financial institution of choice and recognized as a top business leader in all of our markets. Leads business development activities and solicitation of new business.

Cross-train, lead and develop team of associates to promote maximum efficiency, engagement, succession planning and overall contribution to the strategic organizational goals
• Serve as leader/liaison for CRE on a regional level
• Approve all CRE loans/renewals in assigned region
• Manage activities of CRE lenders
• Responsible for staff development via mentoring/training
• Serve on various committees
• Leads recurring sales, and pipeline management meetings with the lending team to ensure calling efforts are ongoing with a consistent pipeline and the credit portfolio is being managed effectively
• Compiles and analyzes market research data to develop recommendations regarding products and services focused on needs of target market
• Represents the Bank in various community, civic, and community reinvestment functions to further enhance the Bank's image and develop additional business
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Four-year college in Finance or Business or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 15 years knowledge of Commercial Real Estate lending experience
• Lending background should include selling, structuring, negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of a variety of major and complex commercial building and business loans
• Knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and other Bank operational policies
• Exceptional analytical skills as it relates to loan packages and industry knowledge
• Must have a complete understanding of cash flows, financial ratios, trends, etc
• Ability to effectively explain bank products and services and the ability to close the deal
• Able to manage and develop a team of lenders
• Exceptional Communication skills - verbal, written, and interpersonal
• Must be able to prioritize multiple deadlines in an efficient manner
• Intermediate skills in word processing and spreadsheet software (WORD, Excel, etc.)
• Intermediate knowledge of bank lending procedures, Bank Policies and procedures, and bank products and services
• Graduate degree preferred

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and use a computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens. Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds in order to process boxed or bagged coins.
