Maintenance Technician - Senior

Shift: 1st 7am - 3:30pm

Summary

Will perform maintenance functions on CNC equipment, manual lathes and grinders (relay logic), plant support equipment to include compressors, pumps, cooling towers/heat exchanger systems, etc. Will perform many of the plant/Equipment P.M.'s. Must be well versed in reading of schematics, motor controls, electrical and hydraulic repair. Additional duties include occasional welding, plumbing and fabrication.

Experience

• Must have a maintenance related certificate of education and /or willingness to attend a maintenance education program approved by supervisor.
• Must have 5 years minimum maintenance experience in a machine shop environment.
• Must be able to perform machine repair in a safe and timely manner to reduce machine downtime.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work area by identifying and addressing any safety issues before proceeding.
• Diagnose and repair production equipment
• Clean-up area after performing a maintenance function
• Diagnose and repair plant support eq. (compressors etc.)
• P.M. equipment
