Comprising more than 130 personnel, the Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) delivers expertise across program and project management, acquisition and contracting, systems and digital engineering, software development, test and evaluation, sustainment and lifecycle management, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT services. These capabilities support more than 100 Above Water Sensor, Undersea, and Combat System programs and projects within the Navy's Portfolio Acquisition Executive for Mission Systems, Maritime and Munitions, as well as clients at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, and the Office of Naval Research.#FC #Dice

You will provide senior High Power Microwave (HPM) support to a critical organization in the Naval Sea Systems Command and support the ongoing development, testing, and fielding of HPM systems. You will perform trade-off analysis, assessments of new technology, and detailed simulation of candidate designs for current and future shipboard HPM systems. You will expertly analyze applicability of HPM S&T research for appropriate DE weapon missions and infusing advanced technology into US Navy surface ships.

You can expect to work primarily from the DC or Dahlgren, VA area. "Signon bonus upon hire."

• A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline;
• Ten (10) years of experience in designing, developing, implementing, testing, and analyzing high powered, pulsed power driven microwave systems. Experience in performing high voltage component design and associated simulation. Experience in performing trade-off analysis, assessments of new technology, and detailed simulation of candidate designs. Experience with vacuum electronic and microwave tube design and test;
• Five (5) years of experience with HPM source testing and evaluation;
• Five (5) years of experience in laboratory and field-testing, including setting test goals, developing test methodologies, organizing and conducting tests, reducing test data, and analyzing results;
• DoD Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility and the ability to maintain clearance throughout employment.
