Software Engineering Intern

• To perform (potentially) a wide variety of tasks including,but not limited to the following:
• Technical R&D around new technologies not yet used by the product
• Basic software design, development, and testing

While goals and guidance will be provided with regular check ins, the candidate will need to work independently on a day-to-day basis.

• Currently enrolled in a four-year university degree, preferably in a Computer Science or related field
• Internship is on site at our Herndon office
• Prior backend and front-end coding experience with modern software languages is required
• Basic familiarity with utilizing open-source libraries and APIs is expected
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and is self-motivated
• Java and JavaScript is a plus

The U.S. hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
