Payments Solutions Consultant Corporate Accounts

IDEXX Payments is built directly into our Cornerstone, ezyVet, and Neo practice management systems. Corporate veterinary groups, the fastest-growing segment of the full-service veterinary market, are served by a dedicated IDEXX Corporate Accounts team.

This is a payments enablement role for IDEXX corporate accounts, which are multi-site veterinary groups running IDEXX practice management software. You partner with the Corporate Enterprise Software Account Manager, who owns the relationship and the sale, as the payments domain expert. You also coordinate with the Associate Director and the Diagnostics Corporate Account Manager so each customer sees one IDEXX team.

Corporate veterinary groups are one of the fastest-growing parts of the market, and payments is a major lever for how they run their business. Your discovery work and business cases give account managers a credible payments story to carry through every account plan, growing payment acceptance across existing customers and supporting new practice management system opportunities.

You will know this role is working when payments adoption and processing volume grow across the accounts you support, every supported account has a documented payments value story in its account plan, and account managers bring you in early and treat you as a trusted advisor to their customers.

• You will partner with Corporate Enterprise Software Account Managers as the payments domain expert, contributing the payments view to account strategy and business reviews.
• You will serve as the bridge between the Payments team and Corporate Accounts, bringing payments strategy, product, and pricing guidance into the field and keeping stakeholders informed on corporate pipeline, adoption, and risk.
• You will lead payments discovery with practice group leadership and finance teams, covering checkout, collections, reconciliation, and month-end close across sites.
• You will turn discovery into a payments value story and business case, grounded in the customer's numbers and operations, that the account manager carries through the account plan.
• You will help identify expansion opportunities, such as text-to-pay, card on file, online payments, or moving remaining sites onto IDEXX Payments, and serve as the payments expert on new PIMS opportunities.
• You will advise implementation, customer success, and product teams on payments requirements for multi-site rollouts and complex issues such as funding, chargebacks, and reconciliation.
• You will build enablement assets such as discovery guides, ROI models, and value story templates, coach account managers, and bring customer feedback back to Payments product and marketing.

• 10+ years in payments solutions consulting, solutions engineering, sales enablement, customer success, or account management for corporate or enterprise accounts, ideally at a payments acquirer, payment processor, ISV, or software company with embedded payments
• Working knowledge of how payments work for a merchant, including interchange, chargebacks, funding, and reconciliation, and what keeps payment operations leaders up at night
• A track record of leading discovery and building value-based business cases from processing statements and operating data, alongside sales partners
• Experience presenting to and influencing C-suite executives, including corporate finance and operations leadership
• Experience creating enablement content, coaching sales teams, and influencing sales partners without direct authority across a matrixed organization
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Microsoft Office proficiency; travel approximately 25%
• Experience in veterinary, healthcare, or another vertical software and payments model, ideally including Cornerstone, ezyVet, Neo, or other veterinary practice management software
• ETA Certified Payments Professional (CPP), Glenbrook Payments Boot Camp, or a similar designation
