Quality Lab Technician

Pay: $28/hour

Contract: 6 months, with potential for extension

Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights, 7 AM-7 PM / 7 PM-7 AM)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Lab Technician to perform laboratory testing and support quality control in a manufacturing environment. This role involves testing materials and finished products, documenting results, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  Perform raw material, in-process, and finished product testing.

  Collect samples and accurately document test results.

  Maintain laboratory records and enter data into tracking systems.

  Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.

  Follow established testing procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.

  Communicate test results to production and quality teams.

  
  
• 
  

  Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory.

  
  
• 
  

  Support quality audits and continuous improvement efforts.

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Previous laboratory, quality control, or manufacturing experience preferred.

  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and data entry.

  Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.

  Good communication and problem-solving skills.

  
  
• 
  

  Comfortable working with chemicals and laboratory equipment.

  Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

  Must be able to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts.
