Sr. IT Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Leads large multi-domain/discipline projects from end to end while ensuring stakeholder alignment along the way

• Helpssupportandorganize productstrategy across single domain/discipline

• Helps articulate business needs through in-depth domain knowledge

• Responsibleforprojectexecution

• Understands and communicates context of interdependencies within domain/discipline

• Significant contributor to Best Practices Team of all the IT Project Managers in the organization

• ComfortabledevelopingandpresentingatDirector and VP leadership levels

• Holds team members accountable, ensuring project team leadership has a clear understanding of goals and timelines

• Guides other project managers and teams in domain/discipline to analyze and solve problems (people, structures, processes and technology); identifies the things that work together to improve operational health

• Challenges, engages and inspires others to commit to the work

• Encouragesprojectleadershipto celebrate successes and recognize team members

• Understands talent capabilities and gaps within projects
• Delivers constructive feedback, training, and coaching to improve the performance of others and inspires the team to excel
• Guides project change management efforts by understanding stakeholder needs and delivering effective communications and training to support change adoption.

• Establishes and implements processes and procedures to meet departmental internal controls requirements

• Ensures that established processes/procedures are followed as designed

• Develops and implements corrective actions with regard to department internal controls as necessary.

Incumbent Attributes:

• Education: Bachelor's degree (Information Technology/Computer Science) or its equivalent in a related field is typically preferred.

• Years of experience: 10+ years of related professional work experience may be preferred to complete all essential job functions.

Other unique job-relevant attributes:

• Experience supporting chemical manufacturing IT projects with knowledge of Engineering and Process Data System processes and technologies.

• Experience managing projects with budget of $1M-$5M

• Agile/lean experience in organizations leveraging lean/agile methodologies and in-depth experience with agile methodologies

• PMI-PMPpreferred

• Project management experience in information technology with a focus on managing medium/large projects

• Ability to work in diverse, fast paced environment and effectively collaborate

• Excellentanalytical, interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills

Position Scope/Contribution

• Breadth of Scope: Has specialized depth and/or breadth in own discipline or function. Frequently represents the function as a subject matter expert. The scope is typical in single domains/discipline or work team. The impact is generally limited to the domain/discipline area(s) supported but may vary.

The estimated base pay for the position is typically between $99,500 - 139,900

The actual base pay for the position may be influenced by factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and scope of the role, and could be outside of the posted pay range.
