Purchasing Analyst Fountain Valley, CA \| $26.13 - $38.55/Hour \| Full-Time Contract Are you a data-driven purchasing professional who thrives on cost analysis, supplier negotiations, and strategic sourcing? We're seeking a Purchasing Analyst to support procurement, supplier management, and cost reduction initiatives in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your purchasing, supply chain, and RFQ experience while working with domestic and international suppliers. What You'll Do Manage RFQs (Requests for Quotation), analyze supplier pricing, and negotiate costs Evaluate supplier quotes against market benchmarks and cost targets Support sourcing strategies, supplier performance, and contract administration Conduct market research on raw materials, components, and industry pricing trends Maintain supplier databases, pricing records, and procurement documentation Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and Quality teams to support business goals Resolve billing discrepancies, manage purchase orders, and track open orders Drive annual cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience Experience with RFQ management, supplier negotiations, and cost analysis Strong analytical, Excel, data reporting, and problem-solving skills Automotive industry experience preferred Experience supporting OEM, wholesale, or manufacturing environments is a plus Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Up to 20% travel, including occasional overnight travel Employee Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Commuter/Parking Accounts People Perks Program Health Savings Account (HSA) AD&D Insurance Apply Now If you're looking for a rewarding opportunity in procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and cost analysis, apply today and bring your expertise to a team where your contributions directly impact operational performance and cost savings.
