The Reliability Compliance & Policy (RC&P) team helps protect the integrity of National Grid's operations by providing leadership, governance, and oversight of the company's NERC compliance framework. The Senior Program Manager, NERC Standards Development & Compliance Readiness owns the bridge between development of a reliability requirement and National Grid's ability to sustainably comply with that requirement. The role provides end-to-end leadership across the standards lifecycle, from emerging reliability and security issues and early standards development through formal commenting and balloting, applicability and gap assessment, compliance readiness, implementation, and transition to ongoing compliance. Working with the affected functions across the organization, the Senior Program Manager translates evolving regulatory requirements into clear business impacts, coordinates subject matter expert engagement, identifies implementation risks, and drives the actions necessary to achieve timely and sustainable compliance.
