Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a senior-level Power BI Data Architect to lead the architecture and technical design for the migration of an existing SAP BusinessObjects reporting environment, backed by SAP HANA, to Microsoft Power BI. This position is located in Herndon, VA. The qualified applicant will become part of Peraton's Department of State (DOS) Consular Systems Modernization (CSM) Program, for the Bureau of Diplomatic Technology (DT). Roles and Responsibilities: This position requires a strong combination of data architecture, data modeling, analytics, and Power BI expertise. The successful candidate must be capable of looking beyond individual report development and determining the appropriate overall architecture for delivering enterprise reporting and analytics through Power BI using semantic models with robust governance and strong security. Target Salary Range $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
