Specimen Processor I Location: 3030 Randolph Road, Charlotte, NC 28211 Duration: Contract - 3+ Months (Potential to Extend / Convert) Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Specimen Processor I to join its team in Charlotte, NC. This role supports laboratory operations by handling specimen accessioning, sample sorting, and data entry in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable multitasking, and able to work effectively as part of a team while following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Key Responsibilities Perform specimen accessioning and ensure samples are properly received and processed. Sort and organize laboratory specimens according to established procedures. Enter specimen and patient-related information accurately into the laboratory information system. Verify specimen details and ensure information is complete and accurate. Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and laboratory guidelines. Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment while managing multiple tasks. Maintain accuracy and attention to detail when handling specimens and entering data. Collaborate with team members to support daily laboratory operations and workflow. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Strong multitasking and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail and data-entry accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Must be eligible for rehire with Labcorp. Preferred Qualifications Previous laboratory experience. Experience with specimen handling, accessioning, sample sorting, or data entry is an advantage.
