Work type: On Campus Location: Normal, Illinois Title: Lecturer-Non-Tenure Track-Creating a Pool Job Summary In anticipation of possible openings throughout the academic year and summer sessions, the Department of Technology maintains a pool of qualified persons interested in part-time non-tenure-track teaching positions. Applications are accepted continuously for part-time, non-tenure-track positions and reviewed as vacancies become available. There may not be an actual vacancy at the time you apply. Additional Information The Department of Technology at Illinois State University serves approximately 525 undergraduate majors, 85 graduate students, and is comprised of approximately 24 faculty members, including tenure, tenure-track, full-time and part-time instructors. The faculty is dedicated to preparing individuals for leadership positions as management-oriented technology professionals and educators. Bachelor of Science programs are offered in Computer Systems Technology, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Graphic Communications Technology, Sustainable & Renewable Energy and Technology & Engineering Education. The Master of Science in Technology provides areas of studies in Project Management, Quality Management & Analytics, and STEM Education & Leadership Typical class sizes range from 20-24 students. Undergraduate programs hold discipline-based accreditations by ACCE, ACCGC, ATMAE, and CAEP. Salary Rate / Pay Rate Commensurate with experience and qualifications Required Qualifications 1. Master's degree in a technology related field with a Bachelor's degree in the same areas. Substantial work experience with Bachelor's degree in lieu of a Master's will be considered.
