Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vice President, Product Security to lead and manage our Product Security Organization. Reporting to the SVP, Chief Information Security Officer, the VP is responsible for overseeing the Product Security for both software and hardware products that are delivered within the Altice organization and to our home and business customers. The role is pivotal in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the hardware and software products/solutions we produce internally here at Altice as well as through partners. You will lead a team of professionals and collaborate with other senior leaders to align their delivery with the security and risk management needed based best practices and business norms.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of product security professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support in their day-to-day activities.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product security strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Engage and collaborate with leaders and teams across infrastructure, engineering, operations, product development and legal to integrate trust and security principles throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Drive a security-first mindset across the organization.
  • Define and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Conduct thorough security assessments, threat modeling and risk analysis for new and existing products and operational technologies, identifying product vulnerabilities specific to software and hardware.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Deliver and improve Product Security KPIs, which reflects the Security, Privacy, Availability and Recoverability posture across Altice products and services.
  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and architects to embed security into the product lifecycle.
  • Champion secure coding practices, vulnerability management, and secure design principles.
  • Oversee security reviews, code analysis, and penetration testing.
  • Lead incident response efforts related to product security incidents.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and communication teams during security incidents.
  • Stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Manage and mentor a team of product security. professionals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, growth, and collaboration.
  • Provide guidance on career development and skill enhancement.
  • Communicate security risks, findings, and recommendations to executive leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to address security concerns and build customer trust.

Qualifications

* Degree in Technology, Engineering or related field; or 15 years of software and hardware product development with increasing leadership experience.
* Master's degree preferred
* Minimum of ten years in a leadership role with proven experience in managing and leading technical teams within a Dev/Sec/Ops environment.
* In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices, such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, OWASP Top Ten, and secure software development practices (e.g., SDL, DevSecOps)
* Strong understanding of hybrid cloud-based infrastructure, web application security, network security, encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms
* Familiarity with relevant data protection and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their implications for SaaS products
* Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the field of product security
* Exceptional customer communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to make informed decisions under pressure and effectively manage crisis situations in support of an exceptional customer experience.
* Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and optimize operational efficiency.
* Project management skills and the ability to oversee multiple initiatives concurrently.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is$178,500-$255,000 /year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
