Battle Simulations Lead
Fort Huachuca, AZ Summary:
The Battle Simulations Lead will oversee and manage the development and execution of battle simulations and training scenarios within the context of soldier training on the Military Intelligence Information Technology Support (MIITS) II contract conducted at the United States Army Intelligence Center of Excellence (ICoE). The training will be executed to TRADOC standards, within the scope of soldier Common Tasks and to the required standards of their MOS related skills. Moreover, the training will be enhanced while using specific Modeling and Simulation software that the Battle Simulations Lead will effectively employ during the required training. Moreover, the Battle Simulations Lead will use their expertise to coordinate with all stakeholders, technical and otherwise and support training scenarios while ensuring that all battle simulation training is executed to standard, and with smooth operation. Job Duties:
- Managing and/or designing simulation scenarios.
- Assisting in the development of simulation models, relevant to the United States Army Intelligence Center of Excellence (ICoE) requirements.
- Management of simulation exercises while ensuring that standards are being met.
- Supporting the training and use of software for all stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for simulation systems.
- Collaborate and coordinate with all operational and technical stakeholders, to include TRADOC training battalions.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10 Years' experience with Army Battle Simulations environments, specifically within the Training Operations Management Activity (TOMA) domain.
- Extensive experience with modern and legacy Army and Joint battle simulations systems, including, but not limited to Warfighter's Simulation (WARSIM), the WARSIM Intelligence Model (WIM), the Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation (JCATS), the Intelligence and Electronic Warfare Tactical Proficiency Trainer (IEWTPT), the Multiple UAV Simulation Environment (MUSE), META-VR software, and Common Ground Station and JSTARS simulations, and their application in the training of Intelligence operations.
- Experience with the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC), and its federation of Live/Virtual/Constructive (LVC) simulations systems, and the Joint Training Environment (JTE).
- Familiarity with the Army's Decisive Action Training Environment (DATE) scenario, and its derivatives.
- Experience operating battle simulations systems on classified networks at the Secret and Top Secret/SCI levels.
- Extensive experience with High Level Architecture (HLA) and Distributed Interactive Simulations Protocol Data Unit (DIS PDU) protocols and functionality.
- Extensive experience with military (ground forces) scenario development, friendly (US and Coalition) and enemy Order of Battle, and ingestion/digitization of scenarios into battle simulations systems.
- Experience delivering constructive battle simulations into the Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A).
- Must be certified at the IAT Level II IAW DoD instruction 8570.1m.
- Must be eligible for a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
