Job Summary:

This position will primarily provide psychology outpatient care, and supervise and mentor residents/fellows/trainees.


Responsibilities:

Provide Psychology care for adult or child/adolescent patients:
-Provide care in outpatient settings.
-Service on appropriate department and medical school committees.
-Participate in other department teaching activities.

Provide supervision, mentorship, and teaching:
-Supervise, mentor, and teach psychiatric residents, psychology interns and medical students.

The chosen applicant will participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.

Education:

Required
PhD in Clinical Psychology


Qualifications:

-Successful completion of training in relevant field of study.
-At least one year of clinical experience in the treatment of psychiatric disorders preferred.

For an appointment at Associate Professor or Professor rank on CHS Track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate or Professor on the CHS Track.


License/Certification:

Required
PSY - Psychologist - State Licensure
Must obtain licensure to practice clinical psychology in WI by start date.


Work Type:

Full or Part Time: 50% - 100%

It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.

Additional Information:

This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
