Temporary Wellness Group Fitness Instructor
APPLY Student and Campus Life (SCL) inspires transformation in all Cornell students on their journey of individual, academic and personal evolution. Our division is comprised of leading student affairs experts who support our campus on pressing student life matters including public service, health, wellness, social justice, residential living, food services, sports, recreation, career services, and student activities and organizations including sorority and fraternity life. We provide support and services to roughly 25,000 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students on multiple campuses in the U.S. and abroad. The Cornell Wellness Group Exercise Program offers a wide variety of movement-based Group Exercise classes that are available to everyone in the Cornell employee and retiree community (staff, faculty, retirees, and their spouses/partners) who choose to purchase a membership. Cornell Wellness Group Fitness Instructors have the exciting job of developing and leading group exercise classes in one or more formats. At this time, Cornell Wellness is interested in candidates who can instruct one or more of the following formats: Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Circuit Strength and Balance Training, and Cardio Kickboxing or Moderate Intensity Interval Training. Classes are provided to participants ranging in age from approximately 20-85 years old, and are delivered through Zoom, in-person, or recorded methods. *Pay rate: $18- $42/hour (based on certifications, experience, and class format).
